Bio (English)

Tito Yang is a Puerto Rican MC and one of the pioneering voices of Spanish-language freestyle. In 2005 he became the first MC to represent Puerto Rico at the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos International — the first edition in the competition’s history. A member of the hip-hop collective L.I.D.E., he went on to found Liricista Records in 2019, a label and platform dedicated to growing rap hispano culture in the US and Puerto Rico. Today he serves as a judge for the Red Bull Batalla USA National Final and continues to release music, including the album Oro en Paz Fierro en Guerra (2025) and the single Big Papa.

Tito Yang es un MC puertorriqueño y una de las voces pioneras del freestyle en español. En 2005 se convirtió en el primer MC en representar a Puerto Rico en la Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos Internacional — la primera edición en la historia de la competencia. Miembro del colectivo L.I.D.E., fundó Liricista Records en 2019, sello y plataforma dedicada a crecer la cultura del rap hispano en EE.UU. y Puerto Rico. Hoy es juez de la Red Bull Batalla USA National Final y sigue lanzando música, incluyendo el álbum Oro en Paz Fierro en Guerra (2025) y el sencillo Big Papa.
